I cant find how to activate signal protector. I installed the wally usb wifi adapter and its connected to my wifi but I dont see where I can activate it. Help please. It's a WALLY receiver

No one here has an answer? Is it because i need to force an update or what? Please need the info.

Menu > Settings > Internet > Advanced

Try this, this is how it sets up on a Hopper. The basic software should be the same:

1) click the home key 3 times to bring up the diagnostics page.
2) scroll down to Network
3) select Internet settings
4) select the Advanced tab
5) turn on Signal Protector

Well I got into diagnostics but there's no advanced choice.

You have to go to internet settings first.

Signal Protect is not available on the Wally at this time.

I know you know this but I've got to say it because I like to be thorough. Presumably you won't see that option if you have no OTA adapter.

Considering that signal protect has absolutely nothing to do with OTA having an OTA adapter is irrelevant.

Signal Protector is available for the Wally.

If you do not have the option in Internet > Advanced, your receiver software is out of date.

It has the wifi adapter and its connected to m home router. Just no advanced tab. How do I force an update?
