Re: [VOOM] Why The Yahoo VOOM Forum Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US?
Satelliteguysus is a commercial website that has some advertising from VOOM.
Whether they are supported by VOOM is a subject of some debate here as to
the meaning of advertising. Purely semantics. If VOOM advertises on a
DISHnet channel does it mean that DISHnet supports VOOM? VOOM is simply an
advertiser and that site is a commercial, privately owned site. When a
posting comes over to the VOOM forum it is clearly designated as originating
on the satelliteguysus website so it is easy to disregard those posts if you
so chose.
As to VOOM being shutoff on the specific date of April 1, this is lke a
skipping record that repeats. I prefer to wait and see how the story
develops but I expect that you are wrong. And if it does, VOOM will most
likely be back in some form. Too much infrastructure that works.
