von weise reed sensor hook up

I just switched acuators on my dsr922
have a question with the wiring
There is the 2 motor wires red and black but when it comes to the reed sensor
there are only 2 wires from the sensor and both are brown

how can i tell which one is which and where to hook them up
this is a von weise and only has a 4 wire configuration motor and sensor but again sensor wires are both brown

Don't take my word for it, but it probably don't matter? But, if you hook it up and it don't count (or show a count), swap the wires and it should be OK...?

Like already stated it's just a reed switch which is activated by a magnet, doesn't care how the wires are hooked up.

Take one of the extra wires in the harness and make it a ground wire by fastening it to a screw at the actuator end and then connecting the other end to the ground stud on the rear of the DSR922. Von Weise actuators sometimes cause count problems with a DSR922 box, especially the 48 count ones. Yours may not have the problem but as long as you have the motor cover off it's an easy thing to do.
