I think this a disaster waiting to happen. This stadium is not built to be played on past mid November from what I have heard and read.

snowing right now...around 4 they say its really gonna pick up where we get an inch an hour for a while then taper off tonight.

correct to a point. Yes there is no heated coils underneath because it was built just for the goofs (Gophers) and their season ends in November. Obviously the NCAA wont play a bowl game here in Dec/January...but the way they are going with bowl games maybe they will soon
They are doing their best to make this game go off without a hitch. They have big forced air blowers in the concession stands to keep them warm (since its open to the field) and they have the field heated. I think it will be just fine and will be a good game...in the snow
on a side note...so those Steelers games at Heinz when they had the old grass and it got dug up so bad that between the hash marks was mud...yeas that wasnt a disaster

I mean a disaster of players and the field conditions for a stadium that is not prepared for play after mid November.
There was a game where a monsoon came down in Miami and they were playing the Dolphins within the last 3 years...I need to find it.
Wasn't that one against Pittsburgh also ?
Look for Ben's first few games of his career, unless your thinking of a different game.
