Vikes to play outdoors at home next week

nah didnt see SNL. Havent seen it in a while

oh and by the way.....Monday's forecast...4 inches of snow at game time with it snowing the whole game :)

Since I doubt Cam Newton will be around for them to draft, maybe Kellen Moore.

I doubt he'll still be there, but maybe ...
Buffalo and Arizona will take a QB I would guess.
And there are a number of teams that they are tied with that may also go before the Vikes.

There are 6 teams picking ahead of the Vikes at least.
Now Detroit would also be an interesting pick, I doubt that they would take a QB, but with Stafford proving to be fragile, ya never know.

Dallas has a worse Conference record than the Vikes, they also could entertain the idea.
Carolina, are they set with Clausen or would they also try to upgrade ?
San Fran also currently would pick ahead of them, they will more than likely take a QB.
Washington may or may not pick ahead of them, they SHOULD take a QB.

So, for Minnesota to get the 2nd QB off the board, looks like they may need to move up or get lucky.

Awesome ....

Maybe they should "Let it Snow" on the field, 4"s ought to pad the field some and the Bears will have padding on the field when they hit the ground ...

I'm guessing that this Monday Night game, though not the marquee teams, will be a VERY highly rated game for the network.

I think a ton of people are going to look in to see this game JUST because of the potential bad/good field conditions.

Exactly what potentially "good' field conditions is it even possible for there to be? :D

I will watch it just to see them outside.

Field conditions will probably be FINE, it's a state of mind ....

They played OUTDOORS in the same type of weather for MANY MANY years, with little to know problems.
Man Up or go home.

I'm guessing a Southern based team would just NOT show up...

I'm REALLY looking forward to this game tonight, with the weather conditions and all.

Besides, this a HUGE game for Da Bears!

Just like the thought that some people watch NASCAR solely for the pile-ups, wrecks, and brawls in the pits... ;)

Not at all.
I LOVE games that are played in the Snow :)

Or rain for that matter, Love the elements during a game.

Now if there's a lot of snow, but not on the field, I could care less.

According to ESPN some of the players have tweeted that the feild is like a concrete slab and isnt ready for the game as they practiced on it earlyer.

its better now. They put down tarps and heaters to help warm the field

and yeah its the punter making those claims too ;)

oh by the way its snowing right now....4 inches by game time...maybe more...with it snowing throughout the game :)

I just saw a weather report from there and they are now talking probably 6" !
Snow to continue thruout the game, tapering off in the 4th quarter.

Hopefully, you are going !
