Video Game Deals

On MidnightBox.com, they have a deal for a re-certified 120GB HDD for the 360 at $74.95. That's cheaper than a new 60 GB HDD. Go to the site and click on the "Deal 2" Tab. I'm not sure how long this is going to last, but as of now they seem to have a large percentage in stock.

Many preorders are excluded.... The two items have to have the "50% Off offer code in the margins...." Got Guitar Hero 5 for regular price and Ghostbusters for $30. Halo 3 ODST and Beatles Rock Band were excluded as was Modern Warfare 2

Strange, they were listed yesterday, but now they are not.

MidnightBox.com today (9/16/09) has the Xbox 360 component cables on sale (recertified) for $2.95. Considering that M$ isn't bundling these things anymore with their consoles and it has the part you need to listen to optical audio, it may be worth picking up. It's deal #2.

Steam is having a weekend sale where you can get Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament, Unreal 2, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Unreal Tournament 3 Black in a package all for $16. Also, UT and UT3:Black have been heavily discounted as stand-alones with prices of $1.99 and $8.00 respectively.

Package: Unreal Deal Pack

Another Midnightbox.com deal. Deal 2 is a 120GB HDD refurbished HDD for $71.95, cheaper than a new 60GB version.

Midnightbox.com AGAIN. 360 Premium Console HDMI (20 GB HDD) Refurbished for $149.95. That's cheaper than the Arcade bundle, AND you get Component Cables.

Was at Target on Wednesday and there were a number of PC Games (windows) that were recently put on clearance. Picked up the poorly reviewed Saints Row 2 for $7.48. Surprisingly at 780 resolution, the game plays half decent. There were also a lot of family titles in the same boat (guess their PC department is about to shrink again)
