Video Game Deals

There's a bunch of new sales on GoG as part of their big sale. Also of note is that a bunch of new games have been added to GoG Connect, meaning if you own the game on Steam, you can get a DRM Free GoG version as well. The biggest addition is Metro 2033 Redux.

The two games I got through GOG Connect were Metro 2033 Redux and The Witcher 2. I'm surprised Witcher 2 and 3 weren't included in the first run like Witcher 1 was.

On Black Friday, Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 will be on sale for $35 at Target.

Of course, if you're an impatient ninny such as myself, you can take advantage of the early bird deal and pick it up now at that price. If you're a Target Red Card member you'll get 5% off as well.

I just bought a copy of Titanfall 2 with this deal too. I picked in store pickup so I can grab it at my local target on the way home tonight.

Walmart has Titanfall 2 on sale at 50% off for PC and PS4.

Better hurry on that PC version. According to the website there's only 1 left!

They have added the Xbox One version to the list now.

Walmart has the Guitar Hero Live bundle (game and guitar) for $24.99.

Madden 17 and FIFA 17 are both $29.96

Cheap Ass Gamer has this pretty nice spreadsheet showing which retailers will have the best Black Friday prices on a ton of different games. If you scroll the spreadsheet to the right they also have the advertised console hardware deals listed.

This is the first Black Friday that I've been an Amazon Prime member. Are there any special advantages, such as early access to Lightening Deals? Usually those are as good, if not better, than any of the prices listed above in the CAG spreadsheet.

I have had Prime forever. I don't think they let you have early access to lightning deals in general but they do have special lightning deals that are just for Prime members.

The good thing about Amazon is that they will typically change their game prices to match the best deal from major retailers like Target, Walmart, and Best Buy. That means you can take advantage of things like Amazon credit and Prime shipping benefits.

I know other places like Target will do price matching but you have to mess around with customer service to get that done. I prefer the way Amazon just handles that for everyone automatically. I think you will be able to get all those game deals directly from Amazon if that is what you prefer.
