OK, this is the rest of the story........................................................................step one,
i called to get upgraded to get local channels, step two, tech came out, installed slimline dish, H20 receiver, H34DVR.
two mos later i looked at my bill and they were charging me $10.00 a mo for HD. I called direct TV and told them that i never asked for HD...........the rep said she was sorry and said she would remove the charge and give me credit for the two mos i had paid.
since then like two years later i left Direct and went to Dish-net. just returned to Direct on Nov 15th and signed up for auto-pay to get rid of the $10.00 charge.
