Upgrade Reciever = Lose HD for 3 weeks?

I called Dish today and ordered the 622 with the HD Silver Package.
(I currently have the 811, Old HDPak+Voom)

They aren't sending an installer out until the 18th, and told me that until I get the new equipment, I would not get any of my old HD channels anymore.
Supposedly they have to cancel my current HDPak to add the silver pak, otherwise it would double bill me..

I asked if I could wait to the 18th to do that -- and she said no - because they need the install order to show the need for 129 so they'd install a Dish 1000. ( I didn't bring up that I already have a dish for 129 - cause I'd rather have the 1000 than 2 dishes..)

OK whatver... So I get home, and check it out... and I still have my current HDPak+Voom...

So.... Was this CSR just nuts? Or should I expect to lose them sometime soon?

If they are still there, I wouldn't expect them to be turned off. The csr's usually do the programing changes while you are on the phone with them.

I don't think it matters, if you keep the 811 on your account it will still get the same channels as it does now.
