Universal LNBs will operate on
lower satellite frequencies than Standard.
Here in North America, we use only Standard (the high end of the FSS band).
A few satellites intended for other areas (which we can receive) may use the lower frequencies of the Universal.
All Invacom LNBs I've seen, are made for Europe, and are Universal.
The only exception I know of is the quad
QPH-031, which is designed especially for the North American market.
It has two Standard outputs, and two Circular outputs.
The Invacom web site has PDF documents on all their products.
So if there is still any confusion, please give the model number or web page, and we'll clarify the mumbo-jumbo.
edit: oops, looks like GaryZ and I both quoted the same page from The Tip of the Iceberg.
