Under Eve Antenna Mount

I have about a 30" roof overhang and I want to mount the antenna there. Anyone seen that type of mount around for not too many $$$ ?

It may help if we knew what kinf of antenna you are talking about. TV? Satellite? And what size?

If you have a gable end on your roof take a look at a standard eave mount. It is intended to be screwed into the fascia board, and does not extend under the soffit all the way to the wall.

TV antenna, my house has hip roof. I guess I should have said want to mount the antenna under the overhang to extend out past the roof, the overhang is roughly 30"

Could you adapt this type of mount to work?

Mount the plate to the bottom of the overhang, then position the pole so it points down and slide the antenna up the pole to the desired position?

On a hip roof, a tripod can work well. Just use a lot of caulk on the legs.

The mast diameter may be too big for a off air antenna, and you may have a facia covering the roof joist but it is still do-able.

This looks like a good idea. I checked amazon and it says no longer available. I got the idea that maybe you could get someone that sells stainless exhaust to bend you a pipe and weld a bracket on it. Also maybe just have him bend the pipe and connect it to a regular satalite dish mount.

We've gone off the rails here a bit - he wants to install a TV antenna not a Satellite antenna.

With the setup here you can install an antenna also. I used an old satelite mount to install a led barn lite on my tv tower and it works just fine
