I tried to upgrade both my Hopper 3s with the Upgrade Software tool and it says the U925 is the latest. Will try again tomorrow.
Same here. I am ever hopeful that the summed max for EHDs will be relaxed. I know; that may never happen. But even a small rise up to 7.5TB would allow me to add my 1.5TB EHDs.
After U925, our 4K Joey started going to a black screen (no picture, no sound but would bring up the banner identifying the channel) and the only way to reset was to reboot the Hopper 3. Hopefully this is a fix.
The software update under 'tools' will not go to the new version yet. Says I have the latest.
Dish must be restricting the release of U927. It is not available using the software upgrade tool.

Not only U927, but all of the various receiver model software versions, apparently. My sister's Wally already has U814, but my Wally still says U812 is the latest version. This is at least a couple of software versions in a row where this has happened. Last time, my Wally finally gave me the option to upgrade around a week after my sister got it automatically.
The same thing happened to me with the last update for my HWS. I tried 3 times to download it with the upgrade tool and each time it went thru the motions of upgrading, but when it was done I was on the same older release. I just gave up trying, and a few days later the update happened all by itself.
I don't even get that far. I keep getting latest software is installed.

That is the same thing I get. Like I said, wait about a week, and then try again. It seems like those of us who are not included in the initial rollout of a new software release are on a bit of a delay before the Upgrade Software tool will work for us.
Now that you mentioned it... The first time that I tried the update it went thru all the motions of upgrading, however the next two times that I tried to update i got the 'latest software is already installed' message. I'd forgotten about that.
If it helps any, I did the upgrade yesterday - can't tell any difference at all.
Unless there's some known fix or known new feature as part of a release, why are some of you guys so hell-bent on getting it ASAP? I still haven't gotten U925 yet, and I'm as content as can be.....
Is it really though? I’ve seen reports of nothing noticed, new bugs found, etc. Plus, when they come out with an update so quick after a preceding one, you know they’re putting out fires or applying bandages....
