True South, Mag Declination.....

OK, I am trying to get my true south sat.. My LONG is 75.84584.. NOAA says my declination is 11° 42W, if I am pointing to true south, I should be aiming/pointing the compass at 180°, Yes.. or with Magnetic Declination, I should be pointing at 168.6° or 191.4° ??

What should I truly be pointing at, trying to figure it all out..

is as posted above.

Its says -12.29 deg Mag. Decl.

I just came across this again from Sadoun..

So reading this I should be pointing at 191.4 on the compass for my true south sat. With that being said, SBS6 which is my closest True South bird should be located at 188.5 which SatFinder says should be 189.4, that is close enough. I should be able to dial it in..

That was why I was confused, but seeing that chart from Sadoun's helped bridge the gap.. Need to bookmark that!! Great find Pete.
