Transfer photos from 722 to ehd?

Browsed all around the 722 menu and never did see a way to accomplish transferring photos to the ehd.Is there something I'm missing or is it not possible?

I am assuming you mean from a USB memory stick? Pick the DVR button, then do not pick my recordings (or whatever it is called) pick My Media (or whatever it is called) and pick from there to either watch or transfer programs OR PICTURES.

well sort of...I used a usb stick to upload some pics to the 722,wanted to be able to transfer them from the 722 to the ehd.I see the option to transfer videos but not pics.

My receiver specifically says My Photos, if you go to My Media (again, NOT to My Recordings then My Media) and then under My Dish Receiver is My Photos, or under External USB Device is My Media and then ways to use the USB.

Yes I understand that Tampa8.I have been there several times.Problem is you can only have the ehd or usb stick one at a time connected to the receiver.So I briefly disconnected the ehd and connected the usb stick.I uploaded the pics from the stick to the 722.Now the pics are stored on the 722,but I wanted to move them from the 722 to the ehd.I see no option to do that?So I assume it's not possible.Have you actually been able to transfer pics from receiver to ehd?

Thanks for your reply MattG.Maybe you could investigate this a bit further personally I think it would be great to have the option to transfer pics to the ehd as another backup to the backup.

I think they would probably litter the program list.

Found this by googling. Apprently it's to transfer photos from a digital cameral to the ehd

Good find dwarren2.Pretty much confirms what I have found out through trial and error.You can upload pics to the 722 but you can't transfer them to your ehd.
