It is that time of the month, when Live TV Providers start reporting their quarterly reports.

First up Verizon Fios, with a loss of 74,000 subscribers, but had great gains with their 5G Service.

Fios Video service is down to 2.7M subscribers

Next up, both Comcast and Charter report on Halloween.

Here we go again. Can we please limit these "provider losses" to one thread? I really don't see this site as the appropriate place to post loss and earnings information for television providers every quarter. Maybe a financial forum?

IMO it clutters up the forum.

Are you not the one who is cluttering up the forum by posting the above, after being told repeatedly, that it is allowed and the appropriate place to post the info.

It's a suggestion, the moderators can take it or leave it. I belong to another forum which is concerned with all things regarding Las Vegas, and as far as I know, they keep all of the casino wins and loss quarterly reports limited to one thread. In my opinion that should be the M.O. on this site as well.

A thread a quarter in an otherwise dead forum, “clutters up” the forum?

it was a suggestion; one thread for one topic.
Not going to happen, since threads never stay on topic, last quarter’s report went into a discussion about what cable channels are going away.

That's just the nature of this site. No need to create redundant threads because a topic goes off course.
Not redundant, different information in every report, not just numbers, but their outlook for the future.

For example, last year, both WOW and Frontier announced they were getting rid of their Live TV service, which I posted in the quarterly reports.

Altice ( former Cablevision ) also announced they are looking into the same, which I posted.
