All the Greenville DMA channels are now on 119 and are gone, I think, from 129. My signals on WGGS and WNTV are now much stronger. Not sure why I upgraded to a Dish 1000 in Janurary now. Would not have if Dish had told me this was coming when I called.

WGGS and WNTV are already mirrored on 129. You get a free dish upgrade if you call Dish Network.

Locals are all well and good, but how about the HD Locals?

like others, this might have something to do with X and living on a fringe area: Burlington VT locals disappeared from my dish today in the AM. Were they scheduled to be moved as well?

Also, is there a map of the NEW spotbeams and where they're shooting?

What is the proper way to check the signal levels of your locals??

For instance, for Philly, it states it's on TP 12, Spotbeam 4.

SO, from the signal level menu, do I check TP 12 on 110? Or do I put in 4?

DFW HD Locals

Any reports from DFW area? I still haven't seen any changes but we're scheduled for May 5th, right? E* tech support has no information.

FWIW - got the signal back for Burlington in southern VT.
Must be tweaking the beams as some have mentioned.

Regarding the other reciever my mom has (in Harrisburg, PA)
the way I read the maps, she should be able to pick up Bostons locals (she's a New Englander through and through ). #1 - is this correct, and #2 - what are the chances she "moves" there and they end up tightning that beam as well?

Im not really sure if this is the right area to ask this but, When I try to watch a local channel it doesnt work and the only works I go to XKJRH, XKOKI, XKTUL, etc.. Those had been there for a few weeks, but now the normal numbers for them dont work anymore starting today.

They are moving Tulsa over to the 110 sat from 119. You will need a dish 500 for locals if you have a dish 300.

I do have a dish 500. It even says I have one on one of thoses on one the dish channels, They were working last night on the channel numbers and now once again it is not working on the channel numbers. I looked and its getting a signal of 85 when it doesnt work on the numbers to. The transponders are around 80-100 like your post above, cept a few wont lock. The guys next door is working fine, His transponder 4 is at 88, and mine is at 84, and yet it still wont work even when its locked.

Figured out what was wrong, it was an LNB i think is what its called.. it was going out...replaced it and it works fine now.
