tiger woods in car crash

That's quite an indictment for all the divorced men out there......

I can't believe people are condoning this (alleged) domestic violence.

They wouldnt if reversed, so I wonder why they do in this case, IF true.

Really good story about this "incident" in the Miami Herald

When Tiger Woods and scandal collide, truth becomes the victim

"The news-gathering landscape has mutated so quickly and so absolutely, at once enhanced and contaminated by the immediacy of everything from texts to Twitter to TMZ, that America's most famous athlete this weekend went from suffering a serious injury in a car accident . . . to suffering a minor injury in a car accident . . . to being ``fine,'' according to his agent . . . to reportedly being unfaithful to his wife . . . to maybe having his face scratched by his angry wife . . . to being rescued by his helpful wife from his crashed car with a golf club . . . to having his car smashed up by his betrayed wife and her golf club . . . to not being any kind of ``fine'' at all.

....In the modern age, there have been very few famous people whose face we know more but whose personalities we know less. That has been by design. Rest assured, you haven't heard from him yet because his handlers are trying to figure out how and what to handle. Forbes magazine reports that Woods is the first-ever billionaire athlete, and that face is too valuable to have scratches from a domestic dispute without explanation."

The truth should come out. And if they both lied about what happened the first time they will face charges. My guess is they had a fight and it got physical . Tiger left and she went after him. She hit the car and also the back windshield and he lost control trying to get away. . Of course my wife is glad she smacked him around . It will be interesting how the media reports this. Just when you think someone might have his act together this happens.

OMG!!!! He is actually human and NOT GOD!!!:rolleyes:

People make mistakes....

It's the media and folks like you that build these people up...and then no sooner than they make mistakes us "regular folks" make EVERY SINGLE DAY .....they shoot them down as if they are just committed child murder.

...the ONLY difference between them and us is money and a skill. They drink, eat, bathe and put on their pants like anyone else.

I don't build any sports figure up. In fact, The truth is many are not nice people to be around. But if Woods and his wife lied to the police I have a problem with that. And it will be ESPN and other "Sports" outlets that will defend Woods even if he broke the law.

I don't think THEY lied...their "people" lied for them to avoid the bad pub, I am sure the LAST thing Tiger and his wife, IF IT REALLY WAS A DOMESTIC ISSUE, were thinking, "gee, I wonder what the public with think...?"

And EVERYONE has jacked up these poeple as godly figures. At one point I DID the same, until I started working with these professional athletes on a day-to-day basis. Like I said, they are NO DIFFERENT you or I. AND...."many of these folks are not nice people" is an assumption by your part. I would say 99% of the athletes I HAVE come in contact with, professionally and personally, are good people. They are weary because alot of the strangers that approach them initially, are looking for something OTHER than just a simple "hello" and a handshake.

I am sure ALL of you would be a tad apprehensive TOO if some came up to not say "hello, nice to meet you....." but, "hi, I am a big fan....can I have....."(autograph, picture, sign my cast, sign my book sign my arm, sign my breast....you name it).

If they lied to the police about really happened they will be charged. If she told the police that she pulled Tiger out of the car after she smashed the rear window but in fact didn't she will be charged.

I guess pro golfers can't have car accidents? Get some real news!
But this is not just about a Golfer having an accident. And Tiger enjoys the spotlight because he's a great golfer. He also has to deal with the down side of it as well. Too bad for him but it's the price they pay for fame.

But his so-called "down side" is a FAMILY MATTER...and not a national media event. IF he did cheat on his wife....it's none of YOUR business, MY business and ANYONE else's business....period.

I could care less whether Mrs. Woods used a niblick to help extract Tiger out of the vehicle or beat him into submission...just don't care for the inconsistencies in the story, and the fact that all further details will be coming from the Tiger Woods public relationship team.

When will people learn that this kind of "stuff" snowballs and grows out-of-control when you try to cover up the details.

Tiger Woods Eludes Investigators Amid New Pics Showing His Crashed SUV

For the third day in a row, investigators today plan to attempt to interview Tiger Woods about an SUV accident early Friday near his home that involved injuries serious enough to send him to a hospital.

Investigators hoping to get answers about the accident were turned away at Woods' Orange County, Fla., home both Friday and Saturday.

As they attempt to interview Woods, new details of the 2:25 a.m. Friday accident are emerging

If no one else was involved with the accident. They its cut and dry . He wasn't drunk so why does anything else matter?
If I hit a Tree and got hurt, The cops would have been there. And that would have been that. My insurence would have went up and tomorrow would have been another day.
The Press are a bunch of A$$holes.

What law did he break?
Just like the military's Uniformed Code of Military Justice, I though Florida was one of those states that still carried "Adultery and Fornification" as a criminal statute? Regardless, perhaps "she" committed assault and battery against her husband.

I any case, I doubt the Woods' will speak directly to the police or the press about what happened...they'll just let their lawyers and PR folks handle the details.
