Without Tiger Woods cheating, there is no spectacle. I'm not going to debate why Tiger Woods cheating gets national attention and you cheating does not, I think you know why. ;)

Sandra

What I am trying to debate with you is WHO is creating the spectacle....it is not Tiger nor his people nor his family. He has TRIED to keep this between him, his family and his handlers.

....the media and the folks like Watson, TMZ and the Page 6's of the world are the ones that are keeping this alive.

...without those folks...there IS no spectacle....Just a couple trying to fix a broken marriage. Just like ANY OTHER couple....

Salsa - Out of 200 posts to this thread you have the most: 59. Seems like maybe YOU are responsible for "keeping this alive". ;):D

I believe if you read the fine print in the Tiger Woods 2010 game it says you do have a right to check out his private life

Page 2 Section 3 Paragraph 5.

Now, If you don't own his game. leave him alone. :)
I am driving a Buick limited edition Tiger Woods Lucerne. Nice car, but the on-board navigation system always plots a direct course to local area strip-joints and cocktail bars. :D

Plus, I noticed that when I purchased golf apparel for my character in the Tiger Woods 10 game, my character was dressed like Huggy Bear with a stripper's role in the back pocket. Go figure!

If Tiger Woods can't laugh at these jokes then he is in for a difficult time.

Oopsey, you forgot this part...;)

Without Tiger Woods cheating, there is no spectacle. Root cause 101.

I just want to hug Tiger and tell him how much we care for him and how we hope he can put this behind him. But part of me wants this to happen again. But this time I want his wife to tape it. I would even pay for it on pay per view.

Naw! It's easier to blame others (media, sponsors, purlic pressure) than it is to take responsibility for his own erections...er, I mean indiscretions. :)

Tiger Woods cannot "open his life" to the public---just as long as they love him and shower him with praise, accolades and money---and then ask people to respect his privacy whenever he pulls a boner. Then again, perhaps if he had pulled his boner he wouldn't be in his current predickament. (pun intended) :D

If yes, I really hope she
- sees him for what he is - a lowlife in a red shirt,
- drags the divorce proceedings for a few years and
- empties his bank account.
And by the time this is over he will make more by being a golf clown than a golf player...

Diogen.

He should have not gotten caught! He had way too many hoes in the stable at one time. It's so easy especially when you are stinking rich. I hope the best for Tiger and his kids. He is still the best golfer in the world. Best there is Best there was and the Best there will probably ever be! Now if he and his wife really want to try and make it work more power to them. She is going to have to take some responsibility and do some of the things she did when they were dating!! After the i dew's woman really slack!!:eek:k:

He took responsibility for his action and apologized for. Apparently, it is not enough for some folks. AND I have stated he was wrong for his cheating. BUT,
the media has not this die down so they can attempt to fix what is left of their marriage.

Now the media is stopping them from attempting to fix what's left of their marriage? Please.

Like riffjim said, it's always somebody else's fault.

Geeez... He must be really sick not even knowing who he f**ked...

He knew what he did....got busted and apologize. End of story. IF she thinks it's best for her and her family...she will divorce him....THAT is a FACT.

IF she drags a divorce, a no fault state....will she get MORE money...nope....THAT'S a fact.

....and whether you do or don't like he will STILL be one of the greatest golfers ever....not the golf clown you seem to think he is.

The media is only covering it like they are because, right or wrong, there is a demand out there for it. If there wasn't a demand you could be damn sure they would not be spending the money and effort to do so.

Also, please explain how the media coverage is impeding the Woods' from trying to fix their marriage. He was able to go and get counseling. We knew about it, but did the media coverage really get in the way??

I must have missed Tiger Woods stepping in front of the cameras and apologizing to the public for his behavior. All I've seen are the replies from his PR team. Heck, there are plenty of "softball" venues in which to express his remorse...like Oprah, Barbara Walters, The Man Show, etc.

You have a very screwed understanding of what "fact" means.
Just about the same as Woods' definition of "family"...;)

He did do at some point step in front of the media to say a few words later called apology.
It went something like this: "Look guys, I f**ked up. Sh!t happens. Would you leave me alone now?"

You don't live in florida and more than likely do not know folks in florida that have gotten a divorce.;)
