This is my last chance before actually buying (or leasing) the 522 unit

I have searched, searched and searched this forum and elsewhere for some sign of satisfactory response to my quest, which is,

"Does ReplayTV 55xx or 50xx support IR code to use their IR blaster to tune DISH 522 TV1 tuner"???

If you have such successful setup, can you share your IR code, is it still 0775?

I don't see any definite respone in all forums i've searched and other information in Internet, however "indirectly" from reading here and there i think i can put two and two together and come to conclusion that this ought to work.

I'll be posting to AVS and other ReplayTV forums to approach this question from ReplayTV side.

I would just get a 522, who knows someday you might even like it better than the Replay. It would be better to you just one box, less wiring and less electricity.


Try it, you might like it. If not, you will still have your replay.
