I loved the promo ... pretty good so far, Terry sounds better to me singing more contemporary stuff than the classic rock he had been singing, his collaboration sounded good. Liked Nicholas & Smokey but still hope Cassadee takes it... good finale.

First time I'm happy with the winner although I would have been fine with any of those 3 winning.

Now the wait till season 4 in the US and seasons 2 in the UK and Australia start in the spring.

Watching Cassadee performing "Over You" from last night's Tonight Show ...

I was out of town - and without access to TV - all week, but managed to download Cassadee's song, and had a friend send me the number to vote. Watching the final show now, but of course knew the outcome. Heck, as was true all season, the iTunes charts told the story.

I can honestly say that I will purchase the first albums from all three finalists. That was not true last year.

Finally finished watching the finale; amazing how much music the top three performed over two nights. Quite impressive.

Got bitten by the bug again. The Voice of Ireland started its second series this past week and dang if it didn't draw me back in tonight.

I really wish one of the stations in the US would get the rights to some of the foreign versions of some of these shows. I could see a lot of positive cross promotion in it for the network.

Good thing my moms side of the family is Irish. The voices are good but the accents are definitely difficult if they get to speaking to fast. Worse than Welsh or Scottish.

Roisin Carlin. She's my favorite performance from the blind auditions so far. Michelle Cunningham, Sinead O'Brien and the Beatty Bros were good too. Still have 3 weeks of blind auditions left. I'm getting the full episodes from one of my cousins this series, but RTE is doing a good job putting the performance clips up on youtube.
