Yes I think it's the locals I have, or more particularly my guide that is screwed up. I went looking for the season finale next week and it was being SKIPPED. So I unskipped it and I expect it to record correctly next week. Why it was skipped, I have no idea. It probably thought the news and the game show were the original showing and so it didn't want to record it over again.
That is how I set it up. I never changed that timer even after I turned on PTAT.

It looks like I can sub to Hulu and watch the missed episodes using their free trial. Is it unethical to unsub again before I get charged?

And no, its fine to use the Free week to catch up and not get charged ... they hope you stay with them long term.
Time travel always opens up a hairy box of worms. Unless she is an alternate timeline it seems that there would be a huge number of implications as soon as they sent her back.
The mind wipe doesn't have to fail completely, it could have left her with a vague impression to not have a relationship. I guess we'll find out.
I think this was Part 1, since Part 2 says the crew has to contend with the disastrous fallout from Kelly's decision.

I remember she put in a good word for Ed, but don't remember details of what else may have happened.
It appears I liked this episode a little less than some others did. I have always liked the concept of time travel and how and what gets affected. I just didn't like how they handled it. Less relationship (I think I posted that before) and more action and interaction with other life forms would be better. That said Adrianne looked mighty fine. For me good concept for the episode just thought it wasn't developed well.

And as I said, his career took a downward spiral because of their divorce, a divorce caused by him ignoring her to work on said career. So without the divorce he could have stayed on his original career path and made captain without her.
He was a goofball....he wasn't under consideration for the captains position..kelly is or was the only reason he was promoted....its called the old boy network

That is a very interesting scenario, Derwin. Let us suppose that young Kelly goes back with enough memory intact to refuse to date Ed a 2nd time. They never get close; they never marry; they never divorce. Ed gets his commission and leads the Orville, but his 2nd (young now older Kelly) was never married to him before. So they are free to start their romance without baggage. Did I lose any lose threads?
