A kinder, gentler and less obsessive-compulsive Mentalist...this reboot may not go well. We shall see.
Will have to check out, like one report mentioned, it almost sounds like the pilot for a new mentalist spin off.
For sure! How 'bout "Completely Mentalist" starring Ed Grimley and Miss Malone, the love of his life. It could be pretty descent, I must say, but it's so hard to tell you know.
You know, I was really expecting at least one of Lisbon's team to fall victim to Red John last. And I was also somewhat surprised that one of the team members wasn't a Judas. I went back and watched the RJ Finale over the weekend and really wasn't a very good episode once you got past the awe of finally learning RJ's true identity. KAB was ahead of his time. Anyway, it's time to close the book on the Red chapter and turn the page to the Blue chapter. Tonight's episode, My Blue Heaven.
Agreed, at least for me the RJ saga became too complicated when I was thinking that RJ could be someone coming back from the dead.

Hope to watch tonigh´s episode, live, but with relatives visiting today from all over, I haven´t been able to watch tv, right now there´s soccer on the tv but it´s not me watching it.

Just watched tonight´s episode, at least some of the questions that I came up with while watching have been answered, but others remain unanswered.
I was wondering how long would Señor Jane remain in Paradise, well that´s been answered. It looked like the pilot for a Mentalist 2.0 as mentioned before by some of you guys. There was only one murder on tonight´s episode, nothing important, though. Anyway, the end sitll left me with a number of questions, I´m looking forward to see how this new Mentalist will play out
Ummm...a quiet show. It laid some ground work for the beginnings of a reboot, but still so much more groundwork to be done.
Its after midnight on the west coast, so anyone reading this thread really should have seen the show.

Since everyone has already seen the show (hopefully) I´ll add that again, we are still to see how this New Mentalist or Mentalist reboot could work out.
Other than the less than important murder of Patrick´s friend, the dog "Hugo" and Lisbon´s face and reaction when she saw how Patrick reacted to that woman agent , there wasn´t much action or suspense in the episode.
Nothing else to note except an important part of the episode required english subtitles
