Satelliteguys radio seems to be working properly now, I tried out the itunes version and it works. That should work on your mac.

It should be possible, but they probably do not want to highlight the 3 tuner issue. The joeys probably view the Hopper more as a file server. Yes, they can ask for a channel change and the channel then is buffered on the hopper and the joey accesses the file remotely to play the video.
