The Cape

I agree, not bad. A bit on the hokey side, but then it IS about a 'superhero'

And it isn't a rerun the next night, it is the completion of the first show.

Just finished watching it and I have to say I loved it. It reminded me of reading the comics that I read when I was a kid except with great special effects. Good cop framed for crimes and then "killed" for the public's view and now on the run as a superhero. It was fast paced and I actually liked the guy playing the Cape. They managed to make me feel for the guy and his family in the first few minutes. When the little boy told his dad "I love you dad" , I melted. It is just like when my little boy tells me the same thing. There wasn't any superman flying, or Hero's show antics, but a more realistic portrayal of a man who tries to fight back as his son's favorite super hero the Cape.

It reruns on SyFy then USA this week too, so you still have a chance to catch it with all the Ghosthunters popups that you know you miss watching NBC.

I've been online looking at the episode guide for this show. I don't see where they had a new epsiode that aired on 1/10. Did anyone actually watch the 2 hour show on Sunday night and then the Monday episode as well? Was it for sure an totally new episode? Because the Sunday night episode was 2 hours long and each hour "kinda" seemed like two different episodes.

I watched most of Sunday night's until the timer cut it off about 15 minutes early...and I don't think I missed much. My attention was waning by that point.

Yeah, my bad. I had both recorded and just started watching the Monday episode. Just a repeat of Sundays. I wonder why a 'new' show timer got the second one.

Well that really ticks me off, as I recorded the first, but not the second. I am watching it now, not sure if its worth keeping or not, but really annoyed now. Thank you NBC for not numbering the episodes properly. I noticed next week is listed as episode 4.

Now to add to the confusion. I searched the guide for all upcoming episodes for this week. It comes on twice on Sluth showing up as episode 1, and it comes on Thursday on SyFy showing as episode #2. but they all have the same description. And then Monday's new episode is listed as episode #4.

I can understand the 2 hour pilot being episode 1&2, but where is episode 3?

IMDB list episode 3 being the next one "The Cape" (2011) - Episode list

Maybe there is a production problem since the guide for NBC is saying KOZMO is episode 4 showing next and IMDB has it as episode 5 for Jan 31st. They may have decided to reedit a couple episodes.

I've given up trying to figure out Dish's episode numbers for shows. They are WRONG a lot of the time. My wife and I watch a certain show that the entire series is being re-shown methodically from beginning to end, that NEVER had more than 65 episodes originally before it was canceled. Well, the other day, episode 59 was labeled episode 107.. They had it right up until around episode 31, and ever since then, it's gone wonky, and completely wrong.

Is Russell the leak??
