The Blacklist

The Blacklist Renewed for Season 9

I'll keep watching but I really think this has gone a couple seasons too many already.
I agree with that comment,

On a personal note, I just don't like the idea of the writers killing Katerina, not a bit.

I can't imagine what a season 9 would be like,

Liz still trying to find out who Red really is?

Too old a "mystery" since about 2 years ago....IMHO

The show should be shuttered!

I can't believe you think Katerina is dead. This is the Blacklist. The woman Red shot was obviously an imposter or clone Katerina. :p
I thought Katerina was killed for a second time last year, but when I saw last episode I started doubting it.

However, I didn't want to admit that I watched last episode....

Yep, that is a possibility, however, draggin' on that mythology of the real Katerina and Red's real identity, I think doesn't help the show, but that's just my opinion

I think Katerina is probably still alive, although they were doing something with A body at the beginning of the episode.

It's official Glen is dead.

I think it was a great episode to honor Mr.Clark Middleton and his character Glen,

I found very interesting that Glen's cause of death was mentioned, and it was exactly what Clark Middleton died of.

R.I.P. Clark Middleton.

I really enjoyed this episode, and it was a nice surprise to see Huey Lewis....I loved those puns using the names of his songs.

I thought the three distinct disconnected plotlines made for a rather disjointed episode. And I've quite honestly never seen a TV show go to such lengths to pay tribute to this minor of a character's passing when the original actor passed (they certainly didn't do that for Brian Dennehy). Maybe it was Middleton's relatively young age and unusual and unexpected cause of death that motivated the show to honor him this way. Regardless, the Huey Lewis cameo was awesome, and everything was handled very well and hit all the right notes -- something definitely needed in our present times with so many experiencing personal losses and being unable to gather for grieving. The episode also proves once again how much better this show can be without Liz.

Agree with all points,

And Liz, I didn't miss her, not one tiny bit. show didn't need her.

So far I'm enjoying these episodes without Liz, Think it's been a great idea to take her out of the equation.

Woulnd't mind if she's treated with extreme prejudice, and no more to be seen.

Megan Boone filmed a new series called Underground Railroad that premieres in May according to IMDB. I'm assuming explains her absence.

Thanks for the heads up,

I'll make sure to look out for that, I like Megan Boone, but I am not really in love with her character Liz, even though there have been episodes where I think Liz has been great,

That heist she pulled with Red to steal that priceless penny comes to mind.

You are welcome my friend. She plays Miss Lucy in the Underground Railroad. It is scheduled to start on Friday May 14, 2021. IMDB shows her in only 1 episode.
