Testing the new Titanium C138 Performance Plus C Band LNBF

Will make an announcement here on SatelliteGuys when the blue filter C140 and C240 LNBFs are available. Also will show in stock and available at:

I'm desperate LOL. 5G has struck again and has been pretty much overwhelming my Perf+ Red LNBF for the last 2 weeks. Transponders on 4120MHz and up seem to be much more stable. Anything under is almost unwatchable.

Sorry for the delay. We have been working on several revisions to further tighten the bandpass filter edge. The units that had previously worked well on the bench under simulated 5G interference (prior to the N77 upper band launch) did not provide the same performance in real world testing. I am still not satisfied with the filtration of the current samples and will not manufacture until the performance is to the standard that I would select for my own system. Will post an update when the 4000 - 4200 MHz BPF units are in production.

N6BY is correct. The new models have increased attenuation below 3800MHz and provide greater signal to noise ratio in the band pass. Very effective against strong 5G N77 carriers with no degradation of the target satellite signals. These LNBFs are still RED filter type with bandpass of 3800-4200MHz. BLUE filter C140 and C240 (4000-4200MHz BPF) models will be introduced next year once the next step of c-band transition is launched.
It's now "next year" :) and the question is are we even getting close to the release of the blue filter models? I ask because it appears that DVB-S2X signals are far more impacted by this issue than regular DVB-S2 or DVB-S signals, especially at certain times of the day, and even though I have good signal strength I am still seeing interference similar to that shown in this video, although I am not as close to a 5G tower as that guy so it's not quite as severe yet. I'd like to start out with the better filtering option, so do you have any idea when the blue models will be here?

The 4000 MHz BPF "Blue" type 5G filter LNBF preproduction samples are undergoing final field testing and production could begin within 4 weeks. We completely redesigned the original product and had to cast a new feed body to accommodate the larger PCB. We found that the real world N77 high band signals were more disruptive than during during initial design and bench testing.

Sorry for the delay, but I will only manufacture and distribute products that I would use in my own system.

Thanks for the update, and I am actually happy to hear you are holding out for a high quality product. I discovered that the "interference" I thought was 5G was actually caused by poor design of the tuner card I was trying to use, and switching to a different tuner solved the issue, so that gives me some breathing room before the inevitable actual 5G interference arrives in my rural area (which I hope is not any time soon).

Brian if you want to test here in Roseville again, you are more than welcome to use my dish and TBS6983 like we did last time.

Titanium thank for the update. I'm sure you'll be releasing full specs when it's ready but can you share what the frequency range is for the new blue filter LNBF?

after evr bought lnb with 5 G filter at 3700 in my locality they activated signals above this value and the channels disappeared, consequently last week I ordered 2 titanium 5 G filters and yesterday I installed them, immediately I noticed enormous improvements across the entire C satellite bandin these 3 videos you can see the differences 1 lnb sat maximun2 lnb Bwei3 Titanium with full polar arc vision from me, 89.5 east --58 west received in C bandwhere the interference has disappeared

I must say that they are excellent products that solved my problem on the C band
Thank you

I'll try and keep this as short as possible - Here in the UK, 18 miles North of the City of Nottingham, we are also suffering from Cband reception problems from destructive 5G interference. I have at least three cell towers near to me that are 5G active, the nearest one is only 300 yds away and has a panel pointing directly at my 2.2mtr PF dish. There are two 5G segments in use now at the moment - the most troublesome one that impacts on my DX reception from 70° West PAL & Digital signals is the one operating between 3.762 to 3.799GHz. To combat this i was using an ALGA RED 3.82~4.2GHz filter into a Norsat 5150F lnb which helped some what but reception results were not as good as pre-5G days. The other day, after seeing some good reports coming in from other UK & EU hobbyists using the Titanium C138 5G lnbf i decided to give one a shot on my 2.2m PF looking at my performance reference go to sat at 70°West. I removed all my previous set-up ie: motorised Prodelin ribbed poloriser / AZ~EL / ALGA RED filter / Norsat 5150F and replaced with a tempory test lash up using a Tit C138 lnbf, no detailed fine tuning applied but the result was really really pleasing - reception performance from 70°W was just about equal from pre 5G days here at my UK qth. Well done Titanium.
