My house is being tented up next weekend for termites.

I presume my satellite dish will be covered up as well.

Does anyone know if my DVR can continue to record from satellite?

What about OTA ?

If only OTA works, then I may have to re-do all my network recordings from OTA signal instead of satellite.

a better question would be, will the stuff they blow into the tent ignite if a spark from an electrical device happens? i would be shutting off power to the house just incase, might want to ask your termite guy about that.

I think you are right. I bet they shut the main breaker off. So with that in mind, nothing matters as far as a DVR is concerned.

Our house was tented and we still got our recordings and the system was just as good as when we left before the tenting, meaning or signal strength was the same when they removed the tent, so they most likely didn't move the dish enough to ruin good peaking.

How many recievers on one dish
