Lucky you I've called every local Installer in our area and scoured every site that sells DirecTV equipment. This would solve a big cabling problem for me and allow me to finally add another HR24. If anyone know of a friendly dealer in a test market please share the info with me via PM

It's only available in a handful of test DMAs and only through the local installer, and then only as part of an installation.. As I have posted before, solid signal will probably get them as soon as they are available.

I would imagine that they are serialized and legitimately counted in the dma s that are testing... so getting one shipped off to a non test market is gonna be nearly impossible right now..
