What a difference on C-band signal quality.

I took the BSC-621 off my 10' sami and put on my 5 year old Astrotel C-band lnbf. My signal across the arc went 15-20%. The 7/8 FEC tp's are really coming in now.

Corotor will be here monday morning-YEAH!!!!

I will re-gain my KU when the Corotor gets here.

I never want to slam someone's product. Most of the time most problems are "user error".
I have spent countless hours (which I do not regret) tuning my 10' Sami dish.
I just never felt like the BSC-621 ever performed great on my dish.

That is not to say that others' have not done well with it. I have read some sucess stories here.
I put the old astrotel 20 degree K c band lnbf on and signals are booming in.

Of course I have no KU at the time.

It could be the particular unit I have purchased just didn't have the quality control in the electronics. You know when you mass produce 1,000,000 of anything you are going to have quality issues somewhere.

I think I will be happy with the corotor from what some of the old veterans of Big Dish tell me.
