Superfan Not free?

FYI, I thought superfan was free per D*'s website from a couple of months ago where it said it was. I saw this on my bill that was cut a few days ago.

I know originally there was the SF charge but then a number of people either called in and got it for free, or they got an e-mail offering it for free. Their web site now offers it for 4 payments of $24.75 each. I'd call up and see if they'll switch you to free, tell them you've seen a number of others get it for free, why not me? You might not get it since you are a recent new customer with D* IIRC.

Directv is good at that.

Don't always trust the prices on Directv's website. Just after I signed up, their site had a "promo" on it that I signed up for. It claimed 12 months of the Protection plan for free.

They didn't honor it, and claimed it never existed. I don't like being called a lair. I canceled it.

They aren't very good at honoring promotions from their website.

The only one I've never had a problem with was their 3 months free HD extra.

some are getting it free and some aren't . i got for $6 a month. still better than $16.50. give em a call

just received my $99 (plus tax) credit. i got the free superfan flyer in the mail offer. that was late july. that's when the credit was suppose to be applied. better late than never.
