Hello,

Does anyone have info on what's required to self install a super joey? I have a 1H 2J solo node system currently and would like to add a super joey from ebay/amazon, but I'm not sure how to wire it up. I've found references to a quick reference guide via google, but all of the links are broken. Thanks.

:welcome2 Welcome to Satellite Guys. Here is a thread dedicated to Super Joey wiring http://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/threads/super-joey-wiring.332773/ . Also,go to http://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/threads/super-joey-specs.331178/ . You want to go to page 8 of this thread & then go to message #76. the numbers are located on the lower right side of the post next to the like +Quote Reply buttons. There is a link to a PDF that shows diagrams of how to install the Super Joey. The most important thing to note is that you have to run a third line from your LNB to a splitter like device called the Integrator(on the 2 ports side of it),which comes with the Super Joey. Also, you need to run a separate line from the client port of your solo node to also connect to the Integrator on the 2 port side. From the single port side of the integrator, you run a cable to your Super Joey.

Oops,my mistake, you run a third cable from the LNB to the single port side of the Integrator,THEN on the duo ports side of the Integrator, you run cable from your client side of your solo node or 3 way splitter to one of the ports on the 2 port side,THEN the other port on the 2 port side runs cable to your Super Joey.
