Strange. Both VIP 612s exhibit jittery locals, but not my 722k

It doesn't have an OTA tuner I don't believe. I just hooked an antenna up to the TV and the locals are fine that way.

Yes, all 612's have an internal OTA tuner. I use them all the time. Helps a lot during severe storms.

I beleive its the port that says "TV/antenna cable in" and once connected, you just run a scan. It also gives you one more tuner to record with.
