OK
Looking at the pdf of the DECA I know that on my install we did not install this part called the Stop Band Filter. It the small piece of coax cable with the red little box on the end. Everything is working fine was just curious if this should have been installed?? Sounds like it was suppose to be on the Swim Adapter or something but again as far as I know everything is working.

stop band filters go on boxes that are not hddvrs or hd boxes /// so it would go on any d12s or any r16s you have.

Ok cool thats what I thought just could not remember.. Not a issue for me since I only get latest stuff installed but good to know. Thanks for the info Stonecold.

It is supposed to be placed between a SWM switch or SWM LNB if they aren't a green label one.

I have a MRV DECA setup with an old SWM switch (2 years old) and had signal breakup issues until I installed a Band Stop filter between the switch and first splitter.
