Season 3 returns October 15. Star Trek: Discovery (Finally!) Sets Season 3 Premiere Date — Watch Burnham Plant Her Flag in New Teaser
Local CBS here has been in a carriage dispute for at least a month now...Currently sucked into ep 2 S1 on local CBS (again, watched on AA originally)
It does. Tremendously. It’s not as good as 2 however.I have been watching Season 1 on CBS and unless it improves I don't see myself watching anymore seasons.
Season 2 is a LOT better. Stick with it, or jump directly to Season 2, watch that, then decide if you want to go back and finish season 1.I have been watching Season 1 on CBS and unless it improves I don't see myself watching anymore seasons.
Personally I wouldn’t skip directly to season 2.Season 2 is a LOT better. Stick with it, or jump directly to Season 2, watch that, then decide if you want to go back and finish season 1.
Overall I enjoyed the first episode of s.3, but the Burn did smack of a rather contrived reason ("they don't know what caused it") for the Federation to have collapsed and people forced to live relatively isolated and cut-off, galactically speaking. The whole "burn" thing sounds intriguing, but at the same time sounds somewhat like that TNG episode where they imposed a speed-limit of something like warp 6 because anything above that was harming some sub-space lifeforms or something like that...
