Directv will be launching The Sportsman Channel on their Choice Extra package by the end of January 2009. They reached an agreement yesterday Dec 8.

Yeah I know, sorry, I'm just a little frustrated right now with the lack of HD additions.
they have 2 similar channels like it currently: Pursuit Channel (which merged with a channel just like it called Maximum Adventure Network back in November) and Outdoor Channel. What doesn't make sense to me is why Pursuit Ch is on Choice but the Outdoor Ch. is on Sports Pack, when theyre basically the exact same thing. Same way with the single sport channels: NFL Net and MLB Net are on Choice, NHL Net, Golf Ch. and Tennis Ch. are on Choice Xtra but NBA TV is on Sports Pack. And how is Big Ten Network any different than The Mtn? sorry for the OT rant but its ridiculous.
