Split Second Signal Loss - Help Needed!

Hi, frustrating issue I am trying to solve.
During most commercials and some programming, I am losing feed for a split second. Screen will black out but will come right back. It seems to happen mostly between commercials but also when watching programming when there is a break in scenes.
Equipment: 942 Receiver and Panasonic 50" Plasma.
I have powered down and checked all connections. No error messages, just losing the signal. DVD works fine so the problem is linked somewhere between the 942 and the TV. My other (non HD) TV works fine with the 942.
Not sure what to address next. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

How is the 942 connected t the plasma? HDMI/DVI-D or component?

My first guess is that the plasma isn't liking the digital signal the 942 puts out for "black frame". Try component and see what happens.

Oh yeah - and have you rebooted the 942?

Put up the signal strength screen and watch it for a little bit and see if you are losing a signal now and then. Perhaps it's a LNB problem.

Also is this OTA or satellite signal, or both?
