sound problems on locals

some shows on abc and nbc the sound is kind of garbled. like Motive on abc and taxi Brooklyn on nbc.

Is it just certain shows or everything on the channel? If it's just certain shows, does it clear up when commercials come on?

52001 also commercials sound ok. Thalnk you

I'm guessing an issue with a 5.1 encoder or decoder somewhere. Possibly even in your house.
