So can you get any networks channels (ABC,CBS and ect) off the Voom satellite or just get off air signail map to the receiver? I live in a white area and quilify for distant feeds but dont know if Voom has any.

No U.S. based sat. system carries any network HD programming. BEV (Canadian DBS) has PBS,CBS, ABC, NBC from both Boston and Seattle. Starchoice, the other Canadian system has some HD, but i can't recall how much. BEV's signal reaches the U.S. quite well - but you need to give a Canadian address to subscribe. I don't know if SC's signal covers as much of the U.S. as BEV.
OTH, the Canadian systems don't have all the other stuff - altho they have some HD PPV and an occasion HD movie on their movie package.

Yes, DirecTV offers CBS-HD East and West, but only in owned and operated markets, or with a hard to get waiver, same as Dish. DirecTV will add Fox-HD later on, when Fox-HD is up and running. They will add in more as time goes by.
