SIRIUS XM Fantasy Sports Radio will debut July 1 on XM channel 147 and on SIRIUS channel 211 for subscribers who purchase the “Best of XM” package, covering a full spectrum of fantasy sports, including football, baseball, basketball, NASCAR, hockey, soccer and golf.
The channel will offer live programming every weekday, plus weekend programming, and will feature a lineup of talk shows hosted by an exceptional roster of fantasy sports experts, including Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl running back Maurice Jones-Drew, former Major League Baseball general manager Steve Phillips, nine-time NHL All-Star Jeremy Roenick, golf analyst Alex Miceli, NBA veteran Dennis Scott, plus experts from well-known fantasy brands RotoExperts.com, RotoWire.com, FantasyGuru.com, FanBall.com and FantasyPros911.com. Starting in August, Maurice Jones-Drew, the star running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars and a fantasy football favorite who finished the 2009 NFL season in the top 5 in rushing yards, TDs and all-purpose yards, will host a show every Friday (7:00 pm ET) throughout the NFL season. Jones-Drew, who is an avid fantasy football player, will take calls from listeners, manage his own fantasy football team on the show, and share his first-hand knowledge on the best fantasy football performers from around the league.
