Someone stole my Sirius radio out of my car so I called Sirius to cancel the account and terminate the radio (aren't the thieves in for a surprise!) I've had 2 radios for 3 years now and they offered to replace my radio free of charge if I would remain a customer. Pretty cool, huh? My new radio is on it's way. Thank you Sirius.

I believe I've read they reactivate stolen radios. So your radio now that it's been removed from an account can be reactivated on a new one after the thieves sell it.

All that matters to Sirius is you're still a sub, and may get a new one as a result.

This was quite a while ago though, so things may have changed, but this was true in the past.

That's what irked me when mine was stolen in 2006 when we lived in our apartment. I called Sirius and told them about it and they took the radio off of my account but refused to deactivate it permanently.

Question about an XM Program

Sirius signal down... anybody else?
