Sirius Sportster 5 ?

Keep getting "aquiring signal" message on my Sportster 5 I just installed in my car. Get this message no matter where I am. Message lasts for about 20 seconds. Had a Starmate Replay and never got this message when I turned on the unit. Is this normal?

Just got a new one myself. Does the same thing.
