Sirius reception problems

I have Sirius for 2 years now and no major problems to speak of. However I noticed my signal strength going from 3 bars to 1 and back to 3 then back to 1 etc. I there a way I can improve the reception? I havre no issues with my XM My Fi.

Make, model, antenna, antenna placement method, antenna placment direction, your geographic location?

Sorry about that.... Audiovox PNP2 Antenna facing west out of window. I live in Rochester, NY.
