Is there any hope for me to get a signal from my office located on the 1st floor of a 6 story building using the Sirius S50 Home Kit and its antenna. I have tried positioning it toward the outside door and office windows w/ not one sign of a small signal on my receiver. Other than placing the antenna across the room w/ people tripping over the cord I don't see any hope. I would appreciate any advice on this problem.

Well if the windows near you are not facing the right direction your pretty much SOL. Can you use Sirius on line while at work? Or you could just play recorded content from the S50. XM has home repeater and I know there has been talk of a Sirius one but I dont know when we may see it.

Unless you receive a signal from the repeater system (like me on the first floor of a 12 story building) or receive a signal from the birds, your only realistic opton is the online version of Sirius.
