Sirius radio with free chs

Hello,

a while back I purchased a second radio to install in my other vehicle.

a week ago, I finally opened the box and plugged it in, to get ready for activation.

as soon as it acquired sat signal, it started updating ch's.

the next thing I know i'm listening to radio ch's ( about 10-15 chs )

after about 4 days, the radio started updating channels again,

the 10-15 channels that i had are gone, but 10-15 new channels showed up.

and as of today, they are still working.

Any ideas? anyone? I have never called sirius about this receiver.

XM has done this during the holidays for the past few years.
This year is the first time Sirius has done it.
