so i was thinking of getting my dad a plug and play sirius tuner for fathers day. Ive been looking into ones that have a built in fm tuner so then it can work with stock radios in the car and his boat. Now if he gets two car kits, one for his truck and one for the boat, all he needs to do is plop it in the holder and it should work correct? How far can these units be from the radio to still have good reception? im just thinking he may want to mount it on the drivers side of his boat instead of the side with the radio, should still work though, right?

I had my truck about 35 feet from my buddys truck and had him tune in the fm station and my pnp2 over road his radio no problem. So in essence I'm trying to say you will probally be fine.
