I have the boombox for home and the portable unit with the plunger for the car. I took the boombox to work to try and get a signal and I didn't which is what I expected as signals in this building don't work for even radio. XM radio comes in great though.

I tried to listen online, but all I got were the music channels. News and sports channels played a 1 minute or so taped bit and then nothing.

What is available online since that appears my only option at work?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks, Rich. I'll have to play around at work some more early one morning. :)

Sirius Rich, will I be able to listen to the Howard Stern Show, via my Dish Top 180 music channel package, when he moves over to Sirius? I don't think so, but I'm not up to speed on Sirius radio.

Thanks!

Very good question. I wish I knew the answer. As soon as I do, I'll post it.

I doubt it will be on Dish maybe streaming but I doubt that as well. Howard has always had this thing about giving his show away for free becasue it hurts his sponsors. Since dish customers do not pay for the sirius channels I doubt it will be up there.

Once Howard's show becomes "Sirius produced" as I have read it will be, then that should allow his show to be part of the online streaming. As I read it only Sirius owned/produced content is allowed online.

Howard will NOT be on Dish's service. Dish only provides the music channels, none of the talk/weather/etc... Only music. I wish they would, but it's not going to happen.

One of the main reasons I got Sirius is for all the football, I was upset when I went in to work and couldn't listen to the football channel online... whats the sense of having the online channels if you can't have em all :(

NFL.com has all the broadcasts on their site, go get them there...Local broadcasts for both teams in a game, can't beat it really...
