I just installed my old Exact sirius receiver on my 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6-R.
I mounted the antenna on top of the left mirror with velcro.
The unit itself is on the inside of the windscreen. I ran a postive and negative wire from the battery with a 5 amp fuse to power the radio and my radar detector.
I use the fm modulator (this old radio has the powerful modulator)to tune my Sandisk Sansa clip into the fm frequency with jvc earbuds under my helmet.
The earbuds serve as noise attenuation from the wind noise on the freeway (instead of wearing earplugs) while giving a good acoustic response.
