I just purchased a 2005 Hyundai Sonata and want to install an aftermarket head unit (Kenwood EZ-500) and Sirius receiver in it. So far, no one has been able to tell me if these items with the proper dash / wiring kits will fit. No data is listed yet on the 2005 model. I am pretty sure that everything is the same as the 2004 Hyundai Sonata, but want to make sure before spending the $$$$. Any help or comments would be gretly appreciated. Thanks

Definately definately get a wiring harness that connects to your factory wiring and will wire up to the harness for your aftermarket radio.

i had to have a custom mount made for my 2004 hyundai xg350l as they don't make aftermarket mounts for it yet, the custom mount cost me 200usd plus labor, but i was able to get sirius in my car

If the receiver is a PnP unit I would recommend the JVC since the car kit comes with a mount that uses a suction cup to attach to your windshield.

If you got a tuner for your Kenwood, provided the one you got is Sirius-ready, then you won't have any problems. You can mount that underneath your seat or in the trunk if you wanted to.
