Signal Loss

I want to move my 625 and reposition my VCR and Cd player and stuff, but I will have to disconnect the cables on the 625 for a few minutes in order to do so. I won't have to pull the power plug though. If I just turn it off and disconnect the satellite feed lines, reposition and reconnect them, will it still have lost signal issue and will the hard drive get hurt when I move it like that?

You shouldn't have any problems doing that. I would unplug the 625 receiver just to be safe since the 625 receiver has a hard drive.
