does anyone know or can anyone tell me what I need to recieve a quality Dish signal in southern Costa Rica? I need to know:dish size, dish type(c or ku), lnb type, is signal circular or linear. I've checked the footprint on 119 and 110 and i am not in the foot print area however, I do have acsess to a 8' dish and was wondering if this would work, i'm located near the border to Panama. hoping there is help out there!

You mean legally?
Because last time I checked DN is only deliver in US and US territories on the Caribbean.
Think your best bet is to check out the "locals"around there in your area.See what
they do for TV you know the old saying"When in Rome do as the Romans do".Good Luck!

Goto DBS forums they have a latin america forum and a guy named rafael. He is a resident expert on DBS in centeral and south america. I think you would need two dishes at least 5m in length to receive a lockable signal on 110 and 119. You would have to give E* a US address to activate service. I would select one in a true white area so you can sub to locals from nps. Good luck and Pura Vida!
